Community Standards
Our Community Forums are governed by the following set of standards that will apply to all community members and their posts. We reserve the right to remove any material that does not (in our judgment) comply with these standards and to revoke posting privileges at our discretion and without warning or explanation. Our decisions are considered final.
1. Be respectful and civil to other members, even if you disagree with them.
2. Any unacceptable content (posts, member names, or subject lines containing profanity, sexually graphic, or offensive language, etc) will be deleted.
3. We do not allow harassing, threatening, racist, abusive, hateful, violent, or obscene language or behavior.
4. Participation in, suggesting, or encouraging any illegal activity is cause for immediate deletion and suspension of posting privileges, and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
5. Any articles, news reports, or other copyrighted material included in the posts must be with the permission of the relevant copyright owners.
6. Do not flood or spam, or post chain letters, pyramid schemes, junk mail, etc.
7. No commercial solicitation or advertising will be allowed. We welcome contributions from people who represent organizations or businesses but please do not use this forum to promote your product, business or organization.
8. This is a public discussion forum. Do not post personal or any other information that you do not want made public.
9. Please keep in mind that other members may claim expertise or status (legal, medical, etc) that they do not, in fact, possess, and use discretion in following their advice.
10. You must be 13 or older to participate in this forum. Federal law prohibits us from collecting any information from people under 13. It is our policy that people under 18 not post any personally identifiable information, including their full name, address or phone number. If you are under 18, please select "hide email address" in your preferences.
Privacy Policy
The site operators do not collect any personal information, however anything you post in the forum can be seen by any site visitor, which automatically makes it public information. Site operators do reserve the right to archive, display or publish that information in other media and forums. We will not sell or barter any information provided to us but, if you give us your email address, we do reserve the right to contact you if necessary. But don't worry — we won't bother you unless we have something really important or urgent to say, and that's not likely to occur all that often.
